As part of the City of Cape Town’s ongoing initiative to improve public transport services, the phased construction of MyCiTi bus stops in a number of areas along the footprint.

This involves replacing temporary bus stops with permanent structures across the footprint, following a successful public participation process. As a result, some permanent bus stops will be built a few metres from their original locations.

• Services will remain fully operational during construction, although minor delays may occur.
• Temporary lane closures may occur while construction work is in progress.
• Temporary MyCiTi bus stop poles will be relocated approximately 30 meters from the active work area to safeguard all road users.
• Access to properties will be maintained at all times.
• Traffic signage and safety officials will guide residents and motorists through the affected area.
• Passengers are encouraged to plan ahead and to download the MyCiTi app for the latest bus times.
